On Monday, March 14, “Learning without borders” is starting – a joint educational project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ukrainian TV channels PLUSPLUS, Pixel and regional channels of the Public Broadcaster, as well as online TV platforms MEGOGO, Kyivstar TV, 1+1 video and sweet.tv.
“It is the eighteenth day of the brutal war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and terrorist defense units are holding up the defense of our state with dignity and repelling the invaders! Our task now is to organize and launch the educational process, at least where the safety situation allows. To this end, we have joined forces with colleagues and partners and developed additional tools for distance education, such as the “Learning without borders” project” , noted Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet. The project will broadcast video lessons for students of 5-11 grades. Each day will provide learning materials be dedicated to a separate discipline. The following lessons will be broadcasted from March 14 to March 18 (Monday-Friday):
So, the children’s TV channel Pixel will broadcast lessons for 5th grade students daily at 10:00 and for 6th grade students at 11:00. PLUSPLUS, which is part of 1+1 media, will broadcast lessons for students of three grades: 7th grade from 10:00 daily, 8th grade from 11:00 and 11th grade from 12:00. Regional Public Channels in accordance will broadcast lessons for 9th grade students at 10:00 and for 10th grade students at 11:00. Also, all the mentioned lessons you can watch on the platforms of online television MEGOGO, Kyivstar TV, 1+1 video, sweet.tv both live and at any convenient time absolutely free.
“Learning without borders” is our joint attempt to immerse students of 5-11 grades in the exciting world of new knowledge through television and online platforms. It’s to remind us that everything will be fine and together we’ll build a bright tomorrow” , the authors of the project comment.
The project is being implemented on the basis of the All-Ukrainian online schedule – on initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, within which students of 5-11 grades can join the video lessons posted on the YouTube platform. Anyone can add new lessons from the schedule to their google calendar to receive notifications when the broadcast starts.
